Your Passport To Protecting America’s First National Forest
~ 7 Inspiring And Fun Ways You Can Get Involved ~

Shoshone National Forest PassportWe are entering a critical phase for the Shoshone National Forest – America’s first national forest – as the U.S. Forest Service revises their forest plan guiding management of the Shoshone for the next 10 to 15 years. Your participation will be essential to secure protection of this magical and wild landscape. And we have just the ticket for making it fun, inspirational, educational and, above all, successful: your very own Shoshone National Forest Passport.

Shoshone stampStarting Sept. 10, get your "Shoshone Passport", GYC's new souvenir travelogue featuring breathtaking images of the Shoshone National Forest's iconic wildlife and scenic vistas. To get yours, stop by our Cody office or call 800-775-1834. Limited to quantities on hand.

The Shoshone Passport pairs more than 20 pages of photographs with regional information and facts that you can use to tailor your public comments. Like an international passport, spaces are designated on each page to collect stamps. Collect your stamp at GYC and Forest Service activities listed below. For every stamp you receive, you'll be entered in a drawing to win a Dave Showalter canvas of your choice. The more you participate in upcoming Forest Plan activities, the greater the chance to win!
